What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
- Install, balance, and repair tires on various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and other equipment.
- Mount and dismount tires from wheels, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Use tire-changing equipment and machines to repair and replace tires.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Keep records of all tire service activities.
What Are We Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
