Position Summary
As a Unit Manager (LPN), you will oversee clinical operations for your assigned unit, ensuring residents receive high-quality, consistent care. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate care, and serve as a key resource for residents, families, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff (CNAs & LPNs) on assigned unit
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
- Coordinate care planning, admissions, and discharges
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care team
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and facility regulations
- Serve as a leader and mentor, promoting teamwork and accountability
- Assist with coverage for call-outs as needed
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in South Carolina (required)
- Prior nursing experience required (not open to new graduates)
- Current CPR certification required
- Must maintain all required continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
