Job Summary

The HR Systems Sr. Specialist is responsible for supporting and resolving escalated HR transactions and inquiries across Workday, Kronos/UKG, and other HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the associate lifecycle—from onboarding through offboarding. This role serves as a knowledgeable resource within the HR team, helping to maintain data integrity, troubleshoot system issues, and contribute to a positive and seamless associate experience.

Shift : Required to work in US shift (night shift)

Team work hours : 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve escalated HR systems requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) and standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and process HR transactions within Workday, Kronos/UKG, and other HR systems throughout the associate lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, job changes, promotions, and terminations.
  • Manage a daily queue of tasks through a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) or other workflow tools, accurately tracking case progress and meeting expected timelines.
  • Conduct routine audits of HR system data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, report and correct identified issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation for HR transactions while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection practices.
  • Share observations and feedback on recurring issues or pain points to help inform process or system improvements.
  • Support system testing and validation efforts during updates or changes to confirm functionality and minimize disruption to end users.
  • Participate in process improvement activities by identifying opportunities to streamline routine tasks or improve user experience.
  • Help maintain up-to-date support resources, such as user guides and troubleshooting procedures, to assist HR and end users.
  • Assist in the delivery of end-user training and contribute to the creation of training materials related to HR systems and process updates.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field

Years of Experience:

  • 2+ Years - Experience delivering and improving HR transactional processes across the full employee lifecycle (hire to retire). 
  • 1+ Years - Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting HR systems such as Workday, Kronos, or similar platforms.
  • 1+ Years - Experience managing and resolving complex HR data issues and system escalations using tools like ServiceNow or other case management systems.
