Join NVIDIA's dynamic team as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer for our Data Center in Israel. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a company leading AI and accelerated computing. What you'll be doing:
Partnering with product engineers to understand the complex connectivity requirements of tomorrow’s data centers
Design and supervise deployment of fiber and copper cabling systems supporting multi-network clusters
Influence data center layouts and planning to provide for maximum flexibility in development focused lab buildings
Understand and support networks controlling, monitoring, and alerting within our enterprise data center environments, supporting the mechanical, electrical, liquid cooling, and security components.
Implement new fiber solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current infrastructure.
Define and document repeatable standards for data center and lab spaces at various scales.
Conducting regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
What we need to see:
Relevant certifications such as Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) or equivalent experience.
8+ years of proven experience in a data center design and engineering role.
Demonstrated experience with architectural drawings and the generation of scopes of work for low voltage contractors
Deep understanding of fiber systems, connectors, and transceivers
Familiarity with OSI-ISO model, switching and routing protocols, IPv4 / IPv6 addressing, and common TCP/IP protocols.
Strong communication abilities and the capability to present technical information clearly.
