The Opportunity
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute short-, mid- and long‑term marketing strategies for the Heart Failure portfolio, aligned with global and EMEA/APAC direction.
- Translate portfolio strategies into clear value propositions, positioning, pricing and go‑to‑market plans that deliver sustainable growth and margin objectives.
- Lead regional New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring prioritization, readiness and flawless execution.
- Drive consistency of marketing approaches across South Europe while adapting to local market dynamics.
- Partner closely with the South HF Regional Director, EMEA/APAC Marketing teams and global stakeholders.
- Ensure effective launch and adoption through high‑impact marketing materials, sales tools and field enablement.
- Monitor market trends, competition and performance, identifying opportunities to strengthen competitive advantage.
- Support forecasts, business reviews and planning cycles (LBE, Outlook) for the HF portfolio.
- Partner with the field organization through joint customer visits and strategic account engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), scientific societies and key external stakeholders.
- Support Health Economics, Reimbursement and Governmental Affairs initiatives to enable access and adoption.
- Identify cross‑divisional synergies within Abbott and lead pilot initiatives where relevant.
- Inspire, coach and develop the regional marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Act as a role model for Abbott’s values, ethics and compliance standards, including Quality and OEC requirements.
What You Bring
- Medical, scientific or biomedical education.
- Solid experience in medical devices, with 5+ years in Heart Failure, Cardiac Surgery, Perfusion or related clinical/marketing roles.
- Proven success in strategic marketing, portfolio management and key account engagement.
- Strong understanding of medical device compliance and reimbursement pathways.
- Experience working in complex, matrix organizations across multiple countries.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) & French; additional European languages are a plus.
- A results‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong influencing, prioritization and problem‑solving skills.
