About the role
As a Production Team Lead, you will perform a variety of manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality medical diagnostic products in a clean and safe work environment. You will have the opportunity to cross-train across multiple work centers, develop new technical skills, and grow your career within a collaborative and innovative team.
You’ll operate within 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles while adhering to ISO and USDA standards, contributing to products that help keep people and animals healthy.

In this role:
You may act as a technical resource for other production personnel, providing guidance and support.
You will identify and communicate safety concerns to leadership to maintain a safe work environment.
You will read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and quality documentation, technical procedures, and applicable regulations.
You will partner with manufacturing staff and support teams to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
You will participate in continuous improvement (Lean) initiatives to enhance product flow and reduce waste.
You will operate and rotate across a variety of machines, including setup, operation, cleanup, changeover, and troubleshooting.
You will apply basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) across various units of measure.
You will collaborate closely with team members and provide production and process training when needed.
What you need to succeed:
At least 2 years of manufacturing or production experience
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems is preferred
Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods (2+ hours), sitting, using computers and phones, extended reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing, kneeling, or bending
Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Target hourly rate of $29 - $30 / hour based on experience

Schedule:
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
