The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Senior Director – Commercial Solutions will lead the strategy, delivery, and optimization of enterprise commercial technology platforms to enable growth and Commercial Excellence. With an established and new Tech ecosystem, this role will focus on maximizing business value through adoption, simplification, and the integration of AI and automation.
This leader will operate at the intersection of business and technology, partnering closely with Global Business Unit (GBU) leaders, Enterprise AI Teams, and Enterprise data teams to ensure commercial platforms are scalable, data-enabled, and tightly aligned to business priorities.

How you will make an impact
Perform definition and execution of a global commercial solutions technology roadmap aligned with enterprise and GBU priorities.
Execute strategic partnerships with IT and business leaders to translate CRM and commercial needs into scalable, high-impact technology solutions.
Coordinate cross-GBU and enterprise IT alignment to drive standardization and efficient delivery of commercial initiatives.
Perform transformation and optimization of commercial platforms to maximize adoption, ROI, and business value.
Execute integration of AI and automation into commercial ecosystems in collaboration with enterprise AI teams to enhance customer engagement and sales productivity.
Support seamless integration of enterprise platforms with BU-specific systems and workflows.
Coordinate with enterprise data leadership to enable a unified data ecosystem delivering trusted, actionable insights.
Prepare governance frameworks, delivery standards, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
Execute vendor strategy, license optimization, and cost efficiency across the commercial technology landscape.
Perform end-to-end oversight of solution delivery, ensuring predictable execution, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
Execute the build and scale of a centralized shared services model to deliver consistent, high-quality capabilities across business units.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 15 years of relevant IT and digital leadership experience
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
7+ years of experience leading CRM and commercial technology ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce and enterprise commercial platforms)
5+ years of experience driving platform transformation to deliver measurable commercial outcomes, including customer engagement and sales enablement
5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data integration, and platform governance within complex, global environments
3+ years of experience embedding AI and automation into customer-facing or commercial domains
5+ years of experience leading global, cross-functional teams and managing budgets, vendor strategy, and cost optimization
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, med-tech, or pharma industries in a private, public, government, or military environment
Demonstrated strengths in strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and driving alignment across senior business and IT leaders
Strong data-driven decision-making skills with a focus on commercial impact, revenue growth, and measurable outcomes
Ability to balance innovation (AI, automation, digital engagement) with operational excellence (governance, delivery, and cost discipline)
Work location:
Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood )
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic & 5% international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
