Position Overview
The Supply Chain Planning Supervisor is responsible for coordinating day-to-day supply chain planning activities for the FisherPak portfolio across the Bridgewater and Fairlawn sites. This role focuses on executing short- to mid-range planning, aligning capacity, managing drum fleet availability, and prioritizing SKUs to maintain high service levels while optimizing working capital and operational efficiency. This position partners closely with Operations, Quality, Procurement, Business Unit, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between demand, production capabilities, regulatory requirements, and supply continuity, supporting the achievement of FisherPak revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Support & Commercial Alignment
- Execute supply plans to support revenue targets and customer commitments
- Partner with Business Unit and Commercial teams to prioritize high-value SKUs and key customers
- Communicate supply risks and potential service impacts proactively
- Support trade-off decisions during supply constraints
- Contribute to forecast accuracy improvements to minimize stock-outs and missed shipments
2. Planning Execution & Coordination
- Translate demand forecasts into production, filling, and procurement plans
- Coordinate capacity utilization across sites based on demand and operational priorities
- Support scenario planning to mitigate risks related to materials, testing, storage, and drum availability
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for planning activities across cross-functional teams
- Align production schedules with customer delivery commitments
- Coordinate with Operations on batch sequencing and throughput optimization
- Partner with Quality to incorporate testing and release timelines into plans
- Work with Procurement to monitor material availability and escalate supply risks
- Support SIOP processes through data preparation and coordination
4. Portfolio & Constraint Management
- Monitor and help resolve constraints including drum availability, cleaning cycles, lab capacity, and storage limitations
- Maintain visibility into order status, shipment timelines, and product readiness
- Support execution of outsourcing or OEM decisions as needed
5. Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track key performance indicators, including service levels, plan adherence, and backorder status
- Support root cause analysis for service disruptions and planning gaps
- Contribute to improvements in planning processes, tools, and reporting
- Promote strong execution discipline and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree plus 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials management
• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations or related field
• Additional relevant certifications in supply chain, logistics, or quality management a plus
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning tools (Kinaxis, O9, Logility)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PPI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
• Ability to work in a matrix organization
• Experience with inventory management and material planning
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience implementing change management initiatives and process improvements
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $83,300.00–$115,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
