About the role

The USC Admission Processing Center is seeking a Student Records Technician (Quality Assurance Technician) to join our team. Are you results-oriented? Do you have an eye for detail? The Quality Assurance Technician researches and responds to inquiries and requests for information. Enters student data and maintains student records database.

This role assists individuals requesting information by telephone, mail, and/or in person. Routes calls or takes messages as necessary. Ensures that system generated replies are sent to potential students, students or others requesting information. The following are among the core accountabilities for this position:

  • Data Entry of admission inquiry information into the Slate system
  • Responsible for the matching of current admission records or creation of new admission records in the Student Information System.
  • Prepping of financial aid documents
  • Tracking financial aid documents in the SIS and Dexflow systems.
  • Responsible for tax form data entry into the Student Information System.
  • Enter coursework grades and number of course units into DARWIN.
  • Produce Transfer Credit Reports

The selected candidate will be expected to enter, edit or ensure correctness of data or standard departmental documents. Set-up and maintain files and records, which may contain confidential student information. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. This position reports to the Admission Processing Manager.

The hourly range for this position is $21.08-$25.08.
