To strengthen our Finance team based in Venlo, we are looking for a Cost Accountant who is able to manage and oversee material standard costing in SAP. This asks for someone who is very accurate but also collaborative. The cost accountant will collaborate with production, procurement and finance teams to optimize cost efficiency and support pricing strategies. This position plays a crucial role for the optimization of project cost efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

Amongst others but not limited to:

• Ensure accurate manufacturing accounting.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs).
• Monitor and analyze hours, materials, and overhead costs.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate cost data in the systems;
• Provides explanations and advices about the costs estimations, reports and improvements.
• Supporting and assisting Operations Controlling Manager.

Education & qualifications

• Completed education on HBO level, preferably in Finance or Business Administration or comparable in experience;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with either costing accountancy or with manufacturing accountancy;
• Advanced knowledge of cost analysis techniques;
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy;
• Effective communication skills, crosscultural;
• Experience in working with SAP;
• Fluency in the English language, verbally as well as in writing. Do you also speak Dutch? That’s a bonus!
