Job Description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB:

As Factory Systems scales from 13 to ~30/40 team members in 2026, the operational complexity of delivering factory technology across ERP, PLM, MES, automation, and platform domains increases materially.
This role formalizes Tanner’s transition into Factory Systems as a senior individual contributor with expanded organizational scope and strategic accountability.
The purpose of this role is to design, stabilize, and scale the operating systems that enable Factory Systems to perform as a Tier 1 factory technology organization.
This is both a promotion in level and an increase in scope.

WHAT YOU"LL DO:

  • Drive execution across Factory Systems
    • Improve planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across ERP, PLM, MES, automation, and warehouse initiatives
    • Align cross-functional teams across Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain
    • Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements
    • Increase deployment velocity and reduce operational friction
    Stand up and scale teams
    • Support the formation of new or evolving teams during critical phases of factory buildout
    • Establish operating cadence, decision-making frameworks, and accountability structures
    • Define roles, ownership boundaries, and performance metrics
    • Partner on hiring plans and organizational design
    • Transition teams to operate autonomously
    Build operational systems
    • Design and implement processes that improve coordination and execution at scale
    • Ensure roadmap sequencing is coherent and aligned to factory deployment timelines
    • Drive consistency in how work is planned, tracked, and delivered
Shape strategy and long-term operating models
    • Partner with leadership to define how Factory Systems scales with company growth
    • Identify gaps across factory technologies (ERP, PLM, MES, automation, AI, etc.)
    • Translate strategy into actionable initiatives and execution plans
    • Drive alignment and help secure resources for critical initiatives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or similar roles in high-growth or complex technical environments
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive structure where none exists
  • Strong track record of improving execution across multiple teams or functions
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment at senior levels
  • Systems thinker with a bias toward action and measurable outcomes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrials, robotics, or factory systems
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, MES, or automation systems
  • Background in scaling operations in fast-growing organizations
