In this role, you’ll tackle real-world challenges by combining engineering expertise with customer-focused sales. You’ll work closely with key customers, apply technical knowledge to deliver value, and play a direct role in driving sustainable growth across Saudi Arabia.
What You’ll Do
Territory Management: Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with business objectives, focusing on aftermarket growth and key account strategies. You will manage the full product portfolio (excluding comminution) across assigned regions in Saudi Arabia.
Customer Engagement: Spend the majority of your time on-site with key customers, providing technical advice and value-based solutions while building trusted, long-term partnerships.
Sales Execution: Identify and lead new projects and inquiries, ensuring correct equipment selection aligned with technical, strategic, and commercial objectives. Actively convert competitor customers and introduce new technologies to the market.
Key Account Management: Manage strategic accounts through structured engagement, including KAM meetings, monthly business reviews, purchasing trend analysis, and debtor-day management to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Technical Support & Trials: Lead equipment, technology, and digital solution trials, providing daily application engineering support to improve customer performance and validate opportunities.
Operational & Inventory Support: Oversee spare parts stocking, monitor inventory turnover, and support sales teams with accurate invoicing and delivery against targets.
Compliance & Reporting: Use Salesforce and SAP for opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting. Maintain strict adherence to Weir’s safety standards and Duty of Care policies.
Travel & Safety: Travel frequently within the territory as required and demonstrate a strong commitment to Weir’s zero-harm safety culture.
What You’ll Bring
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of technical sales experience, ideally within mining or heavy industry
Strong expertise in pumps and application engineering-led consultative sales
Fluent Arabic and business-fluent English communication skills
Valid driver’s licence and passport
Saudi national, based locally in Saudi Arabia
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in aftermarket services and exposure to large mining customers such as Ma’aden
Territory or key account management experience
Familiarity with Salesforce, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
Strong commercial mindset and ability to work independently within a lean team environment
