Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology / Generalist - Days

Join a close-knit team of Technologists in our Microbiology laboratory, which includes primarily molecular, with limited serological and bacteriology testing. Responsibilities also include maintaining inventory and quality control compliance. This role will assist with processing send-outs associated with the laboratory operations. This role may be cross-trained in other clinical areas of the laboratory to provide generalist coverage as needed.
This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
Competitive sign-on bonus up to $10K :

Preferred Criteria
ASCP certification
- Prior Microbiology lab technologist experience
Required Criteria
A Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or equivalent
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
If pending a clinical laboratory technologist license - must obtain license within 6 months of hire
