About the role

Your Role 

We are seeking an Internal Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of tail-end customers within an assigned BES territory / BSP industry. This role focuses on remote account management, sales development, and lead generation to maximise sales and profitability across bronze, low‑potential, and selected customer segments.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage, develop, and maintain assigned customer accounts remotely to maximise sales and profit

  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts and support lead generation activities

  • Develop business across bronze and selected customers through range selling, cross-selling, and value-based pricing

  • Execute remote sales activities, including preparing proposals, coordinating and negotiating with customers, closing deals, and responding to RFQs

  • Identify high-potential accounts and define strategies to convert prospects into customers

  • Identify, prioritise, and proactively contact prospective customers

  • Manage customer-related initiatives and projects as required

  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and complete all relevant sales reporting

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective customer service and delivery

Your Profile 

  • Experience in internal sales, account management, or customer-focused roles

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customers remotely

  • Commercially minded with a focus on sales growth and profitability

  • Well organised with strong attention to detail and CRM usage

  • Experience in water treatment, industrial services, or technical sales is desirable but not essential

Location: Leeds
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Working pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

  • Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
