The Projects & Operations Regulatory Team Leader is responsible for leading regulatory execution, operational excellence, and project delivery related to crop protection products, ensuring high-quality regulatory submissions, compliance with applicable legislation, and efficient cross-functional collaboration. Regulatory Project & Operations supports the responsible development, registration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of crop protection products by ensuring robust regulatory execution, high-quality submissions, and efficient, scalable processes. The function translates regulatory requirements into structured workflows, reliable documentation, and coordinated delivery across global, regional, and local stakeholders.
The Regulatory Project & Operations Team Leader is responsible for leading regulatory specialists and analysts, overseeing end-to-end regulatory projects, and ensuring the timely preparation, submission, and follow-up of high-quality regulatory dossiers. This role coordinates regulatory timelines, monitors workflows, proactively mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with applicable local regulations while maintaining strong alignment with Regulatory Services, Strategy, and cross-functional business partners.
Through strong leadership, project management, people leadership and operational discipline, this position drives process optimization, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across regulatory workflows. The role ensures traceability, documentation quality, and effective use of tools, dashboards, and tracking systems, while strengthening interfaces with global and local regulatory teams to enable compliant, efficient, and high-quality regulatory delivery across the portfolio.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline (e.g., Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or related field).
Fluent English required.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Operations, Stewardship, or closely related roles within Crop Protection and/or Life Sciences, with demonstrated experience in regulatory submissions, dossier management, and compliance activities in Brazil.
Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating end-to-end regulatory projects, including planning, execution, submission follow-up, risk identification, and delivery of high-quality regulatory dossiers.
Strong working knowledge of Brazilian regulatory requirements for pesticides, workflows, and authority expectations, including practical experience ensuring technical quality, documentation consistency, and compliance of submissions to regulatory agencies.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Regulatory Strategy, Regulatory Services, Stewardship, R&D, Commercial, and global/local partners to align priorities, manage timelines, close data gaps, and support effective regulatory execution.

Regulatory & Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of crop protection regulatory processes, product lifecycle requirements, and dossier development standards.
Solid understanding of Brazilian regulatory systems, including submission pathways, data requirements, compliance expectations, and interfaces with regional and global regulatory teams.
Project Management & Operational Excellence
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple regulatory projects, manage competing priorities, and ensure predictable delivery against timelines.
Proven ability to drive process optimization, standardization, automation, and implementation of tools, dashboards, and tracking systems to improve efficiency, traceability, and documentation quality.
Leadership & People Development
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop regulatory specialists and analysts, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Experience supporting onboarding, capability building, and continuous development of team members in a dynamic regulatory environment.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Strong collaborative mindset with proven ability to align Regulatory Services, Regulatory Strategy, Stewardship, R&D, Commercial, and global/regional stakeholders around priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
Ability to build strong interfaces across functions to support consistent execution, issue resolution, and high-quality regulatory outcomes.

Strong execution mindset with attention to detail, quality, and compliance, ensuring reliable follow-through across regulatory processes and submissions.
