PLEASE READ : Does not Apply for J1 Waiver candidates | MUST be available 2026.Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine team as a Nocturnist Hospitalist within the next few months.
Located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Geisinger Wyoming Valley serves as a regional referral center offering advanced specialty care, leading-edge technology, and collaborative physician support. Hospitalists work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving outcomes across the health system.
Job Duties:
Dedicated Nocturnist Hospitalist role
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift schedule
7-on / 7-off block scheduling
Inpatient-only practice
Closed ICU environment
No procedures required, though procedural opportunities are available
Extensive specialty support available across the campus

EMR
Fully integrated Epic electronic medical record (EMR) platform across the Geisinger system, supporting coordinated, efficient patient care.

Candidate Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
