Job Description:

The Senior Pitches and Proposals Manager will develop written responses to requests for firm credentials from clients and prospects, with a primary focus on requests that feature multiple firm capabilities/practices. This position is expected to provide strategic guidance for RFP responses, proposals and pitches, while managing the overall proposal response process. The Senior Manager will help identify and liaise with the appropriate attorneys, business developers and other professional staff, as well as the firm’s Marketing Collateral Manager, and utilize technology tools (including artificial intelligence) to fully leverage the firm’s collateral database and prior pitches and proposals, to create effective content that distinguishes the firm and helps win new business.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Periodically review, update and maintain pitch master slides and RFP boilerplate documents, cataloging final pitches and RFP responses

  • Coordinate with the firm’s Marketing Collateral Manager and business development team to ensure that standard marketing content for each practice (including practice descriptions and experience lists) is regularly updated.

  • Develop and maintain training materials for attorneys and BD staff on best practices for pitch delivery and proposal content creation.

  • Establish standardized content governance workflows to ensure version control, brand consistency, and compliance with firm policies.

  • Create reporting dashboards to track proposal outcomes, win rates, and strategic insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or English

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development

  • Gifted written communication and strong verbal skills are critical to success as are collegial, collaborative and team player attributes

  • Candidate must be a strong and resourceful project manager who thrives on juggling numerous high visibility projects on fast timetables and can handle high-pressure environments with poise

  • Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset are essential

  • Candidate should have strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of proposal software platforms (e.g., QorusDocs) is optional but preferred

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (InterAction, Salesforce, etc.) and/or experience management platforms

The Compensation range for this role is 130,000 - 165,000 USD Annual and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be highly dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications
