Job Description

We are looking for a Mobile Automation Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for Android and iOS mobile applications. The role focuses on building scalable automation using Appium and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality mobile releases. This position will be full-time and onsite from Bengaluru.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze product requirements and define mobile automation scope, strategy, and framework architecture.

  • Create and maintain test cases, automation scenarios, and traceability matrices.

  • Ensure coverage across functional, regression, integration, and device compatibility testing.

  • Design and develop mobile automation frameworks using Appium.

  • Automate test cases for Android and iOS mobile applications.

  • Implement automation scripts using Java / JavaScript / Python (based on framework).

  • Execute automation suites across multiple devices and OS versions.

  • Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab CI).

  • Maintain and enhance the automation framework for stability and scalability.

  • Perform functional, regression, and usability testing for mobile applications.

  • Validate API integrations used within mobile apps.

  • Conduct device compatibility and cross-platform testing.

  • Support performance validation and monitoring where required.

  • Provide insights on automation coverage and test stability.

What You'll Need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • 4–7 years of experience in mobile application testing and automation.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Appium automation framework.

  • Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications.

  • Experience with CI/CD integration for automation suites.

  • Good understanding of API testing and backend validation.

  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology.

Preferred:

  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification (Preferred).
