Senior HR Advisor

Location : Manila, Philippines

Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join the HR Business Partner team in AsiaPac. The role holder will be a key member of the HR Business Partner Team, providing advice and guidance to Line Managers and supporting the HR Business Partnering team.

Job specification

  • Supporting the Regional Head of HR

  • Support the regional head of HR on all regulatory and group reporting

  • Provide assistance to the Regional Head of HR on regional project

  • Work alongside the Regional Head of HR on all employee life cycle matters requiring consolidation for Group

  • Supporting the Regional HRBPs and team

  • Be the first point of contact with Line Managers and Employees and direct or answer HR queries

  • Manage all workday queries and configuration requirements

  • Manage the flexible working process and coordinate outcomes with the necessary stakeholders ensuring compliance with local legislation

  • Updating handbooks, policies and procedures for relevant countries in scope

  • Liaison between GroupHR and TA on new hire matters including background checks

  • Manage resignations and terminations locally with the HRBP

  • Workday process assistance to managers

  • Liaise with relevant business areas on audits

  • HR Advisory on Philippines Location

  • Support the local Philippines team on all HR matters

  • Act as the HRBP and provide on location support for Philippines

  • Proactively provide guidance to Line Managers on the employee Lifecyle

  • Act as the point of escalation for any individual issues arising from background screening and coordinate outcomes with the necessary stakeholders.

  • Create and develop standard operating procedures for key HR processes.

  • Support the wider HR team with projects as required.

  • Direct all employees and managers to the correct departments

  • Interpreting handbooks and legislation for guidance

  • Escalating employee or manager technical queries to HRBPs

Skills Required:

  • Previous HR Advisory experience across AsiaPacific locations

  • Extensive experience with Workday

  • Experience in working with various levels of management

  • Worked in an HR advisory capacity and confident providing advice and guidance to Line Managers within the Asia Pacific region

  • Act as the HR support on location in the Philippines

  • Working knowledge of HR policies and processes

  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders

  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise workloads

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
