The Opportunity
Are you an expert at navigating complex distribution ecosystems and driving profitable market expansion? As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President, Sales & Distribution, is the architect of our overall distribution strategy. You will lead the transformation of a multi-channel environment, accelerating digital capabilities and brand presence while strengthening agency and broker partnerships.

In this senior executive role, you are accountable for the cohesive performance of Agency Operations, Broker Distribution, Digital Development, and Marketing. By working closely with underwriting, product, and technology leaders, you will deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our members and partners across Alberta.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will develop and execute the enterprise sales and distribution strategy to ensure alignment with corporate growth and profitability objectives.
  • By providing executive leadership over insurance marketing, you will oversee high-impact customer acquisition initiatives and retention.
  • You will lead the broker distribution strategy, strengthening engagement and productivity with Alberta-based broker partners.
  • You will oversee agency operations to ensure strong governance, compliance, and operational scalability across the channel.
  • Through partnership with IT and product teams, you will drive the development of innovative digital sales platforms and broker tools.
  • As a mentor to high-performing teams, you will foster a culture of innovation and accountability while building strong cross-functional partnerships.

What You Bring to the Table

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree being highly preferred.
  • You have 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within insurance or financial services, including significant responsibility in sales, distribution, or broker management.
  • Your background includes a proven track record of leading multi-channel strategies and delivering sustained revenue growth.
  • You possess a strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting dynamics, and the regulatory landscape.
