This position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Specialist

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: On Site.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Support the creation and management of Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely processing and delivery.
Assist in the coordination and tracking of supplier quotations, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Help manage internal approval workflows, following up with stakeholders to avoid delays.
Participate in invoice review and validation to ensure alignment with approved quotes and POs.
Monitor project implementation progress and provide follow-up to ensure deadlines are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, operations) to support planning activities.
Maintain organized records and documentation for all procurement and fulfillment processes.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with at least one year remaining before graduation in International Relations, International Business, Foreign Trade, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage and organize data effectively.
Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset.
Effective communication skills with a proactive approach.
Outgoing and confident personality, comfortable interacting with different stakeholders.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
