About the role

The SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the technical foundation of the SSPM capability. This role focuses on developing custom SaaS integrations, ensuring SSPM platform availability and data quality, and partnering with internal stakeholders to support engineering, automation, and data ingestion needs. The SSPM Developer enables scale and reliability of the SSPM program by extending platform capabilities and ensuring continuous, accurate SaaS security visibility.

Key Responsibilities

SSPM Platform Engineering & Reliability

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance custom SSPM integrations with SaaS platforms and internal systems
  • Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of the SSPM platform and supporting services
  • Monitor data ingestion pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

Custom SaaS Integrations & Automation

  • Design and build custom API integrations for SaaS applications not natively supported by the SSPM platform
  • Develop automation to support onboarding, configuration monitoring, and data normalization
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot integration and data ingestion issues

Stakeholder Partnership & Engineering Support

  • Partner with SSPM analysts, IAM, SOC, Data Engineering, and application teams to understand engineering and data requirements
  • Support security posture use cases such as identity analysis, integration visibility, and configuration monitoring

Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Support SSPM upgrades, enhancements, and platform changes
  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in software engineering, security engineering, or platform engineering roles
  • Strong experience with APIs, SaaS integrations, and data ingestion pipelines
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms and modern authentication mechanisms
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting SaaS Security Posture Management, CSPM, or security analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, service accounts, and non-human identity access
  • Experience working with SIEMs, data lakes, or security telemetry pipelines
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF
