About the Role:

The Team: Filings & Sourcing department is part of the FDI Cluster on EDO at S&P Global. It is responsible for Sourcing, Classification and verification of Financial & Non financial documents accurately and timely to internal data collection teams & product. You will gain exposure to different and latest production tools being used, frequent interactions with global teams will help understand the industry dynamics, cultural diversity and create a symbiotic work culture.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Lead and manage a team of 12-15 associates in sourcing, verification, and classification processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines and quality standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day workflow, performance management, and talent development for the team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with internal clients and global teams on new projects and data enhancement initiatives, gaining exposure to state-of-the-art processes and diverse cultures.
  • Proactively identify individual strengths for effective delegation and ensure clear, seamless communication across all levels.
  • Take accountability for business objectives, acting as a role model and influencing the team to embrace change and live S&P Global's purpose and values.
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of operations principles, data/content management objectives, and S&P Global's purpose and values.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, including performance reviews and talent development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including familiarity with relational databases, intermediate SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to different situations and effectively respond to adversity.

  • Demonstrates strong Emotional Intelligence by actively listening and seeking to understand diverse perspectives and concerns.
  • Proven Collaboration skills, actively participating in and contributing towards team goals.
  • High Adaptability, using previous experience to identify appropriate courses of action and embracing new ways of working to improve existing approaches.
  • Creativity in understanding team goals, bringing new ideas to the forefront, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
