The HR Shared Services Transformation Manager leads transformation by driving continuous improvement, process standardisation, and operational efficiency. Partnering closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Technology, and regional teams, delivers scalable solutions, optimises service delivery, and advances automation initiatives to support global HR standards while meeting local business needs.
Key Responsibilities Summary
- Drive global HR Shared Services process standardisation, documentation, data governance, and automation initiatives.
- Lead and deliver HRSS transformation programmes, including process optimisation, service delivery improvements, and Workday HCM business process related enhancements.
- Establish robust requirements governance, ensuring clear, validated, and traceable business and technical requirements.
- Oversee solution design, build, testing, and UAT activities to ensure high-quality delivery and successful outcomes.
- Enhance HRSS service delivery through improved compliance, knowledge management, and self-service capabilities.
- Support change management, training, communications, and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation of HR initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of Workday Help knowledge articles, and drive insights to enhance self-service adoption to reduce case volumes
- Maintain governance, risk, and compliance frameworks to support controlled and compliant HR Shard Service operations.
- Build strong partnerships across HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Technology, and regional teams to align transformation initiatives with business priorities.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline or equivalent demonstratable experience.
- Significant experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or HR Transformation environments.
- Proven experience leading transformation initiatives within HRSS - moving activities to central function.
- Experience of delivering process improvement initiatives within HR Shared Services.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR lifecycle processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with HR systems - Workday HCM business process knowledge is essential and ideally ServiceNow.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong programme and project management experience - Lean, Six Sigma, or project management certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience using Workday Help to analyse case trends, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and reduce case volumes.
- Experience creating and optimising Workday Help knowledge articles, leveraging user feedback and insights to enhance self-service adoption and reduce case volumes.
- Strong communication and change management skills.
This role is offered as a 12 month contract.
Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
