Job Summary: 

The Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure, pipelines, and architectures that support the organization's data-driven initiatives. This highly technical role requires a deep understanding of data management principles, programming languages, and analytical techniques to develop efficient, scalable, and reliable data systems. The Data Engineer collaborates closely with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust, production-ready solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into target data stores. 
  • Implement efficient and scalable data processing and transformation workflows using tools and technologies. 
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and fault tolerance, ensuring seamless data delivery to downstream consumers. 
  • Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data. 
  • Data Platform support and maintenance
  • Collaboration with internal developers and stakeholders

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as technology or computer science
  • 3+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar data-focused technical role 
  • Working experience with our technologies: Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes, Azure Storage, Linux
  • Strong Python and SQL skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical field 
  • Collaboration with internal developers and stakeholders
