Join our interdisciplinary team and provide high-quality physical therapy for all of our patients.  Explore our innovative programs as you rotate through our many acute care services, including Medical/ Surgical, Orthopedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurology, Och Spine, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, and Outpatient Physical Therapy. In this position, you will rotate through our many acute care units, ambulatory surgery, and outpatient units. This position starts on a Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. schedule with a weekend commitment and involves transitioning to an alternate schedule such as Tues-Sat, OR Sun-Thurs, OR Mon-Fri 12 p.m.- 8 p.m. in future rotations, for a minimum of a 1-year commitment.
 

Preferred Criteria

  • Acute Care experience.

  • Experience with post-operative cases.

  • Orthopedic experience.

  • Neurological experience.

        

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.

  • Demonstrates competency in clinical skills consistent with the level of education, training, and experience. 

  • New York State Physical Therapy license.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
