Position Purpose:
The Retail Media Account Executive drives revenue and strengthens relationships with key suppliers, service providers, and national advertisers within Orange Apron Media. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, supporting long-term partner growth, and meeting defined sales targets. Reporting to a Senior Retail Media Account Executive, this role works closely within the Orange Apron Media sales team to execute partnership strategies and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
40%- Revenue and Sales Growth
Own defined sales targets for assigned accounts and execute strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and growth opportunities within existing vendor relationships.
Partner with Senior Account Executives and internal teams to develop proposals, business cases, and campaign strategies.
Support quarterly and annual planning, forecasting, and business reviews.
40% - Account and Relationship Management
Serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio of suppliers, service providers, and advertisers.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships by understanding client objectives and business priorities.
Collaborate with Senior Account Executives and provide recommendations on strategic initiatives and escalations.
10% - Market and Strategy Insight
Evaluate trends in retail media, digital advertising, and the overall industry to guide account strategy.
Conduct competitive research to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Use data and insights to inform recommendations and support revenue expansion initiatives.
10%-Campaign Support and Enablement
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with client objectives.
Support campaign measurement and reporting by providing insights and recommendations in partnership with Account Managers and Operations teams.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
Position reports to a Senior Retail Media Account Executive.
This position has no direct reports.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
4 years of professional work experience
Must be 18 years or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
4-5+ years of experience in retail media, account management, partnerships, or marketing
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
Proven success driving revenue growth and maintaining client relationships
Strong knowledge of digital media, retail, e-commerce, and advertising products
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
