Job Description

The Position: 

An intern will get a chance to get involved in development of electronic modules for our products. These modules are crafted by team of electronic engineers in close collaboration with specialists in diverse fields such as particle physics, mechanical engineering, or software engineering. Important aspect of the design process is focus on high reliability, which helps to ensure high quality of the solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support for variety of development and integration tasks performed by firmware and electronic groups in R&D. 

  • FW and HW test automation using modern methodologies & frameworks. 

  • Hands-on testing and debugging on microscope systems. 

  • Contributing to collaborative work environment with multi-functional development teams. 

Qualification: 

  • Student of bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent experience (2-3 years). 

  • Basic experience with MCU design (C/C++) and/or FPGA design flow (VHDL/Verilog). Ability to read electrical schematics is a plus. 

  • Familiarity with Linux OS, Git and any scripting language (e.g. Python) is an advantage. 

  • Self-motivation to learn, adaptability and proactive approach in problem solving. 

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and good interpersonal skills. 

  • Communication level of English.
