The Opportunity
You’re a relationship-builder with deep Property claims expertise and a passion for improving how things work. As a Claims Performance Specialist – Vendor Relationships, you will play a critical role in strengthening our vendor partnerships across Property claims.
In this role, you’ll focus on improving performance, controlling costs, and enhancing the experience for our members. Working closely with the Vendor Manager and internal stakeholders, you’ll leverage data, insights, and collaboration to drive measurable improvements. A subject matter expert in Property claims with strong understanding of vendor performance and quality standards

How You’ll Make an Impact
Monitor and enhance vendor performance using KPIs, scorecards, and established protocols
Conduct estimate reviews to ensure quality, compliance, and cost effectiveness
Lead recurring vendor performance meetings and support ongoing relationship management
Act as a liaison for complaint resolution between Claims operations, vendors, and insured members
Research and build relationships with non-preferred vendors as part of prospecting initiatives
Partner with the Vendor Manager to develop and implement quality improvement strategies
Produce monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting to support performance analysis and decision-making
Serve as a subject matter expert for claims systems, supporting platform development, testing, and deployment
Monitor and support system tools and integrations to ensure optimal performance
Explore new platforms and support pilot programs with potential vendor partners
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment, risk mitigation, and clear communication
What You Bring to the Table
CIP designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada (or active progress toward completion)
Extensive expertise in property remediation and restoration
Minimum 8 years of Property & Casualty insurance claims experience (personal and commercial) or equivalent operational claims experience
General claims adjusting experience
Hands-on experience with claims management systems and performance tools
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage vendors, frontline teams, and leadership
Solid understanding of personal lines property and casualty insurance
Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a systems-driven, data-informed environment
