The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Business Leader of Dental Solutions, you will report to the SEA Business Leader and lead a team of 15+. You will be a full P&L owner for Thailand Dental business, playing a critical role in building and executing the go-to-market strategy for the Dental Solution Business in Thailand, setting the company up for success long-term in the country.
In addition, you will be tasked with the responsibility of exploring new opportunities and setting up new businesses for the company in Indochina, particularly Cambodia, Laos & Myanmar.
Benefitting from having a market-leading product portfolio, you will be responsible for expanding strategic relationships with our current channel partners to grow the company’s revenue in Thailand.
By being resourceful and identifying new opportunities in Indochina, you will be also be successful in expanding our footprints in roads.
With the right customer focus and an approach aimed at developing and executing data-driven account plans in the country will set you up for success in both Thailand and its neighboring countries.
You will assess the sales coverage strategy to deploy sales force optimally and evaluate the right sales channels in the market to increase penetration in our sales network.
Taking up new challenges, you are to seek out and develop new business opportunities for the company in Indochina. You will be hands-on and go in-depth into analyzing and understanding the business and regulatory landscapes of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. You will conduct market research and create demand for our products in these new markets. You are also able to articulate these new opportunities and risks to management on these new Indo-China markets.

- Define new business initiatives based on market understanding and data insights for prioritized portfolios, market segments, and care pathways to generate new opportunities with a demonstrable Return on Investment.
- Execute and formulate a data-driven sales strategy, enhance revenue growth with current customer base, and develop a new customer base.
- Contributing to the development of growth strategies and lead generation programs as an executive leader. Develop the sales strategy and execution plan based on the annual marketing strategy to achieve the annual budget and lead the entire sales department staff to implement the execution plan and achieve the budget.
- Plan and execute sales and territory expansion activities by leveraging the strength of Solventum’ s broad product portfolio and lineup.
- Continually monitor the sales activity of the team and track the results; report on sales activity; provide ongoing training and development of the sales team.
- Provide market feedback to the leadership team influencing product strategy and positioning.
- Perform regular individual meetings with the sales team, as well as supporting client visits with sales reps where necessary.
- Work closely with the regional APAC & SEA internal stakeholders and others to inspire the local teams of End-User Sales, Clinical Specialists, Inside Sales, and Marketers to execute country strategy.
The Skills and Expertise
- Must have at least 15 years total experience in the dental products or medical device industry, plus 5+ years of successful track record of managing a sizeable team.
- Experience in business development and building businesses from scratch and in a sales or marketing management position or similar in a business setting.
- Strong experience in building strong channel partner relationships and managing overall channel processes, setting appropriate metrics for channel sales funnel management, and developing & building channel pipelines to opportunity close.
- Prior experience in developing a high-performance culture.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles including the ability to provide coordination and direction to your extended team.
- Ability to solve complex problems and articulate ideas and strategies effectively.
- Culturally sensitive and a creative, versatile, and strategic thinker. High energy and attention to detail.
- Business-level English skills
