How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a Production & Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Joensuu.
In this role, you will help ensure efficient order-delivery process by balancing customer demand, production capacity, and material availability. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to on-time delivery, optimized inventory levels, and continuous improvement across our supply chain.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and supply plans.
- Plan and coordinate material availability to support manufacturing.
- Monitor inventory levels, production capacity, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Customers, and other stakeholders to resolve planning and material issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
How will you get here?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience in production planning, material planning, scheduling, or supply chain planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of inventory management, capacity planning, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Lean methodologies is an advantage.
- Experience from regulated industries (e.g. medical devices or pharmaceuticals) and knowledge of GMP/FDA requirements is considered an advantage.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in both Finnish and English.
