About the opportunity
Your tasks include
- Prepare purchasing plans for direct materials and services to secure timely supply.
- Follow and enforce QIAGEN’s procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services aligned with category strategy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement and category strategies.
- Take full ownership of your portfolio and make decisions for routine procurement activities.
- Manage and negotiate supplier relationships, pricing agreements, and contract modifications.
- Conduct market research, analyze cost structures, and report outcomes based on KPIs.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, project management, or supply chain.
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and proactive decision‑making.
- Ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
