  • Configure and maintain communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, LLP, SFTP, Web Services, REST APIs).

Integration Support & Maintenance

  • Monitor interface engine queues, processes, and logs to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues, including data mapping, message routing, acknowledgments, and connection failures.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for interface incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide on-call support for critical integration issues as required.

 Analysis & Mapping

  • Work with analysts, vendors, and end-users to understand business and clinical workflows and translate them into integration specifications.
  • Perform data mapping and transformation between source and target systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with standards.
  • Document message flows, mapping logic, interface specifications, and configuration details.

 Projects & Upgrades

  • Participate in integration-related projects (EHR implementations/migrations, new application deployments, system consolidations, etc.).
  • Assist with engine upgrades, environment refreshes, patching, and capacity planning for Cloverleaf and Corepoint environments.
  • Support testing cycles (unit, integration, user acceptance) and coordinate interface go-lives and cutovers.

 Governance, Standards & Security

  • Ensure interfaces comply with organizational integration standards, data governance, and security policies (HIPAA, PHI handling).
  • Contribute to the development of integration best practices, templates, and reusable components.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date interface documentation and configuration inventories.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with integration engines, including:
  • Significant experience with Cloverleaf (e.g., route configuration, NetConfig, tcl scripts, Xlate, SMAT/log analysis).
  • Significant experience with Corepoint (e.g., routes, transforms, data maps, triggers, connection configuration, monitors).
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • HL7 v2.x messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, RDE, etc.).
  • Integration patterns, message routing, filtering, queuing, and transformation.
  • Standard communication protocols (TCP/IP, LLP, MLLP, SFTP, HTTPS, Web Services, APIs).
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex interface issues end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with major healthcare applications (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, LIS, RIS/PACS, pharmacy, billing systems).
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and security best practices in healthcare data exchange.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scripting/programming experience (e.g., Tcl in Cloverleaf, C#, PowerShell, Python, or similar).
  • Experience with message tracking, monitoring, or observability solutions.
