SUMMARY: Directs the day-to-day functions of Powerex Manufacturing Operations by supervising, directing, and motivating staff. Organizing and monitoring workflow to ensure all efficiency and quality goals have been met.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise, motivate, and develop production employees to meet operational and quality objectives

· Plan, schedule, and assign work to meet production goals and delivery commitments

· Monitor production performance, analyze data, and report operational results

· Enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with company procedures

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

· Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees, including performance management and corrective action when necessary

· Identify and resolve production issues, personnel concerns, and process inefficiencies

· Review and correct manufacturing routers, bills of material, and assembly drawings as needed

· Drive cost improvement initiatives and continuous process improvements

· Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and other departments to support company objectives

· Other duties can be assigned as needed

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Management, or a related field

· Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

· Ability to lead and motivate teams of up to 30 employees

· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills

· Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and production workflows

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

· Willingness to work additional hours, including Saturdays

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

· Split time between manufacturing floor and office environment

· Regular use of hands, tools, and equipment; occasional standing, walking, stooping, crouching, or kneeling

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

· Occasional travel, including international travel (approximately 10–15%)
