General Laboratory Support Associate (M/F/D)

Avantor is looking for a motivated and proactive Onsite Support to join the team based in Mölndal, Sweden. In this position, you’ll be part of the team providing the operational support of laboratory equipment, including performance verification and routine maintenance.

This role will be a full-time, temporary (seasonal summer job) position based in Mölndal, Sweden, known for its cutting-edge laboratories and production facilities focused on drug development and commercial-scale pharmaceutical production. Monday to Friday, core hours 

What we’re looking for 

• Ability to coordinate and manage the shipment and receipt of samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and procedural documents
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including performance verification, calibration, and routine servicing
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring proper documentation, quality checks, and timely completion of tasks in accordance with service level agreements

How you'll thrive and create an impact 

• Prepare and label laboratory materials, including biological media, buffers, and mobile phases, in compliance with procedural documents, site, and regulatory requirements
• Order and maintain an inventory of materials required for formulation preparation, ensuring timely delivery to end users
• Coordinate and execute the receipt and shipment of samples, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to site-specific, procedural, and regulatory requirements
• Manage and coordinate the fill of external liquid nitrogen reserve tanks in line with site and regulatory standards
• Maintain and manage the glassware, autoclave, and parts washer service, ensuring cleanliness, quality control, and timely return of materials
