The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity for you to apply your knowledge and experience to implement strategic initiatives such as the National Defense Strategy, Acquisition Transformation Strategy, and transformation of the Warfighting Acquisition System (WAS). As a WAS professional, you are familiar with Adaptative Acquisition Framework (AAF), contract management, governance structures for program milestones, decision points, or phase decision reviews, statutory and regulatory information requirements and documentation, validating requirements, and resources planning and allocation.
On our team, you will serve as a Program Analyst providing day-to-day program management support for a Navy client. As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with our defense client to acquire and deliver innovative and effective capabilities and solutions to the warfighter.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with a Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE), Program Management Office (PMO), or Program Executive Office (PEO)
- Experience supporting a Major Defense Acquisition Program or Major System program using the AAF pathway or combination of pathways
- Experience with program information requirement documentation and reports, including acquisition strategy, acquisition decision memorandum, acquisition plans, the Modernized Selected Acquisition Report, Defense Acquisition Executive Summary Report, and Congressional Report for Middle Tier of Acquisition Pathway and Software Acquisition Pathway
- Experience with senior executive, flag, and congressional-level briefs and various correspondence, including Information and Action Memos, Report to Congress, and responses to request for information
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and reviewing and editing written materials for accuracy, completeness, proper documentation formatting and markings, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and guidance
- Knowledge of program milestone, decision point, or phase decision reviews, including Gate Reviews, Program Objective Memorandum, Program Readiness Reviews, and President’s Budget program reviews
- Knowledge of DoD or DoN data management systems and tools such as the Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE), for research, development, and acquisition using the Research, Development, and Acquisition Information System (RDAIS), Advana, or DoN Jupiter
- Knowledge of federal or DoD contract management policies, regulations, and guidance such as FAR, DFARS, DFARS PGI, OSD Class Deviation, or NMCAR, contracting strategy types, and contract types
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Navy Systems Commands
- Experience with the Major Capability Acquisition, middle tier of acquisition rapid prototyping or rapid fielding, or software acquisition pathways
- Knowledge of DoD or DoN task management and correspondence management policies, guidance, processes, systems, and tools, including SECNAV Manual 5216.5, DoDI 5200.48, DoDI 5230.24, the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATSM), or Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2)
- Knowledge of resource allocation processes, program planning, budget execution, spend plans, authorization and appropriation, and appropriation accounts or categories such as funding types
- Knowledge of federal laws, executive authorities, DoD and DoN issuances, regulations, guidance, and federal standards
- Knowledge of Power applications, including Teams and Power BI
- Knowledge of AI tools, applications, and platforms, including GenAI.mil, Ask Sage, and Advana
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of strong interpersonal, self-management, and writing skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
