PATH is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, and a development sector enthusiast on Third Party Payroll- Randstad to be a part of the Strategy and business development team and operate in a dynamic and evolving environment to contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in public health. Key responsibilities will be to provide support on activities including but not limited to developing organizational strategy and growth plan, financial and non-financial partnership development, creating concept notes and proposals, decks, and program strategy documents for PATH India programs. He/she will be part of the Strategy shared service of PATH India Office, catering to all program verticals, including Family Health, Technology Innovation & Systems, Infectious Diseases, Vaccines & Innovations Access.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with program verticals and leadership teams to advance organizational strategic priorities, support growth planning, and identify opportunities for expanding PATH India's public health portfolio.

  • Lead and contribute to the development of high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, donor presentations, partnership pitches, and strategic program documents across diverse public health areas including health systems strengthening, infectious diseases, immunization, family health, digital health, and innovation.

  • Manage the opportunity pipeline by tracking and assessing funding opportunities from bilateral, multilateral, philanthropic, corporate, and government donors, while supporting go/no-go decision-making and proposal prioritization processes.

  • Conduct donor landscaping, stakeholder mapping, competitive intelligence, and market assessments to identify emerging funding trends, strategic partnerships, and programmatic growth opportunities.

  • Support the conceptualization, design, and implementation planning of innovative public health interventions by synthesizing evidence, stakeholder insights, policy priorities, and programmatic learnings.

  • Undertake quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate actionable insights, inform strategic decisions, strengthen program design, and support organizational learning.

  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional proposal development processes, ensuring timely inputs from technical, programmatic, finance, operations, and leadership teams while maintaining compliance with donor requirements.

  • Support strategic partnership development and stakeholder engagement with government agencies, development partners, academic institutions, healthcare providers, corporates, and civil society organizations to advance PATH's mission and program objectives.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with donors, implementing partners, consultants, and key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and support resource mobilization efforts.

  • Prepare high-quality reports, executive briefs, presentations, and communication materials for internal leadership, donors, partners, and external engagements.

  • Support project management and coordination processes across multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring effective communication, risk tracking, timely deliverables, and alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Lead background research and strategic preparation for senior leadership engagements, donor meetings, conferences, and partnership discussions, including stakeholder analysis and briefing notes.

  • Mentor interns, consultants, and junior team members, contributing to capacity building, knowledge management, and the strengthening of internal business development processes.

  • Represent the Strategy and Business Development function in internal and external forums, workshops, partner meetings, and field engagements as required.

  • Support training rollouts, field visits, and program reviews to gain implementation insights and strengthen the linkage between strategy, business development, and program delivery.

  • Undertake additional strategic, programmatic, and organizational development responsibilities as required to support PATH India's evolving priorities and growth agenda.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 + years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, public health consulting, program management, partnerships, resource mobilization, or development sector advisory roles.

  • Demonstrated experience in proposal development, donor engagement, partnership management, and strategic planning.

  • Strong understanding of the global health and development ecosystem, including government, donor, and philanthropic funding landscapes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data-driven storytelling; familiarity with visualization and knowledge management tools is desirable.

  • Experience working with government stakeholders, development partners, NGOs, healthcare providers, and private-sector organizations.

  • Ability to operate independently while effectively collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership levels.
