Job Description

**This is a 12-month Full-Time Contract Position**
Location: Available to sit at any of our office locations nationwide (See list of available locations); we operate in a hybrid model, 3-days a week onsite required

Under general supervision, responsible for performing import/export compliance activities of moderate complexity with increasing independence. The Import/Export Analyst II applies learned techniques and professional practices to ensure materials comply with US Customs and export control regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening of export orders against restricted/denied party lists.
  • Coordinate with engineering and materials teams to verify classifications globally.
  • Ensure export shipments have correct HTS and ECCN classifications.
  • Follow and help improve internal import/export compliance controls and procedures.
  • Audit import entries for correct valuation, HTS, and country of origin determinations.
  • Maintain related records for import and export transactions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to analyze import/export data and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Competent in interpreting and applying trade compliance guidelines with moderate supervision.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate internally and with external agencies.
  • Initiative to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in relevant trade compliance software and tracking systems.
  • Working knowledge of US Customs import regulations and Export Administration Regulations.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years of relevant industry experience
