The Supply Chain Operations Lead is a hands-on role at the center of how Orchard labels bring physical products to life—owning everything from product setup and inventory to solving real-world issues that keep orders moving smoothly. By acting as the key connector between labels, Sony Music’s global supply chain, and external partners, this role directly enables SME’s success through speed, accuracy, and smart problem‑solving.
What you'll do:
- Role model SMG’s Global People Promise, Values and Behaviors in all that you do, helping to drive a sustainable high-performance culture within our business
- Own end‑to‑end physical supply chain operations for Orchard labels, from product setup and purchasing through inventory oversight and issue resolution.
- Manage Orchard‑specific workflows, including cash orders, returns to vendor, SKU and UPC accuracy, and purchase order confirmation.
- Partner closely with manufacturing vendors and distribution centers to resolve setup issues, validate open orders, and address discrepancies.
- Oversee order changes, cancellations, system cleanup, and urgent escalations to keep label releases on track.
- Monitor inventory health by reviewing open orders, aging stock, and risk areas, supporting planning and obsolescence decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining workflows, reducing manual effort, and serving as the primary operational point of contact for Orchard labels.
Who you are:
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in supply chain, operations, or physical distribution within a fast‑paced, multi‑partner environment.
- Strong operational and analytical skills, with confidence managing complex workflows, multiple systems, and detailed data (especially Excel).
- Clear, confident communicator who builds trust across labels, vendors, and internal teams while handling issues and escalations calmly.
- A proactive problem‑solver who enjoys improving processes, reducing manual work, and making operations run smarter and smoother.
What we give you:
- You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to channel your passion every day
