About you and the role:
As a Senior Sales Specialist, you support account managers for small to medium-sized accounts. As a more experienced Senior Sales Specialist, you also support large accounts and are accountable for key non-selling activities inherent in the sales process. This includes generating leads, outlining sales territories, managing sales analytics, resolving customer technical problems, and providing phone-based customer support. Your scope may be regional and segment-specific (aligned to a business) and, less frequently, global.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive profitable growth and manage accounts within the ICT (Infrastructure, Consumer, Transportation) segment by expanding the customer portfolio and identifying new opportunities for sustainable business. (e.g., Photo-Voltaic /value-chain engagement, footwear/consumer growth initiatives, transportation/TPO customer development)
- Develop and implement market strategies, transforming insights into targeted growth actions while actively supporting sustainability initiatives that align with business direction. (e.g., projects that increase adoption of circular/recycled content solutions where relevant to customer needs and business direction).
- Execute robust sales planning and forecasting, working closely with supply chain and marketing to ensure commercial goals are met and performance is optimized.
- Lead pricing negotiations and value capture, making sure pricing strategies comply with business and regulatory guidelines while defending value-driven pricing models.
- Manage channel and distribution strategies, collaborating with partners to boost market reach and maintain a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Champion customer experience by resolving issues efficiently and maintaining strong commercial discipline, leveraging digital tools and CRM for data-driven decision-making. (e.g., opportunity management, activity/call reporting, account hygiene)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is must with 3-8 years of relevant experience. Post graduate degree in business administration or equivalent is preferred, but not compulsory.
