SUMMARY Q2 is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Senior Software Engineer ready to make a significant impact in the fintech space. You will work collaboratively to design, implement, and maintain innovative software solutions that enhance the Q2 platform and empower clients to achieve their goals. This role requires not only technical expertise but also strong leadership abilities to mentor junior engineers, guide architectural decisions, and ensure code quality through best practices and effective test automation. You will thrive in a challenging environment where innovation, problem-solving, and a proactive mindset are highly valued, contributing directly to the success of complex, high-impact projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Follow lean software development and continuous delivery methodologies. • Research, architect, and build sub-systems integrating with new and existing platforms. • Break down complex requirements into manageable units of work. • Apply advanced design patterns without over-engineering. • Mentor and coach junior engineers, promoting maintainable and high-performance code. • Communicate and document efforts to technical and non-technical audiences. • Coordinate with globally distributed teams and ensure adherence to security and privacy policies. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE • Degree in Computer Science or related field; 12–15 years of professional experience. • Full-stack .NET development experience (SQL Server, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript). • Familiarity with MVVM and front-end frameworks (Vue, Angular, React). • Experience with test automation frameworks and auto-mocking tools. • Strong knowledge of multiple design patterns and SOLID principles. • Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills. • Banking domain experience is a plus.

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
