This role plays a critical leadership role in driving high impact, enterprise level transformation initiatives across the Agency. Operating as a strategic PMO, this role partners closely with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into disciplined execution, ensure cross functional alignment, and embed sustainable change across the agency force. The role is accountable for outcomes, adoption, and measurable business impact.Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Enterprise-Level Transformation Delivery
- Directed comprehensive agency transformation programs from inception to completion.
- Break down ambitions into executable plans with clear milestones and accountability.
- Drive delivery across multiple workstreams with pace and precision.
2. PMO as a Strategic Engine (Not Reporting Function)
- Establish and operate a high-performance PMO that facilitates strategic decision-making.
- Establish clear standards for governance, operational cadence, and execution discipline.
- Intervene decisively to unblock issues and keep leadership priorities on track.
3. Influence Without Authority
- Collaborate with different divisions across the company.
- Align senior stakeholders with different agendas toward a common outcome.
- Challenge constructively and push for better solutions.
4. Data, Insights & Pressure Testing
- Establish success metrics utilizing precise and substantive key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect real business impact and outcomes.
- Utilize data to pinpoint areas where transformation works as well as places where it falls short.
- Regularly evaluate initiatives and make timely adjustments as necessary.
5. Driving Real Adoption on the Ground
- Ensure initiatives last within the agency.
- Partner closely with field leaders to translate strategy into practical execution.
- Track behavioral change (VDTs), rather than focusing on completed activities.
Job Specifications:
a. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications in project, programme, or change management (e.g. PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean, or equivalent) are an advantage.
b. Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with a strong track record in transformation delivery, strategy execution, PMO leadership, or large‑scale business initiatives.
- Experience within agency distribution, financial services, or similar performance‑driven environments is highly advantageous.
c. Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong structured thinking and problem‑solving skills; able to simplify complexity into clear priorities and actions.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution at scale.
