THE JOB:

Bring life to every space as an Interior Gardener, where your work helps transform our indoor environments into vibrant, welcoming experiences across the MGM Resorts properties. In this hands-on role, you’ll care for and maintain lush interior landscapes, ensuring every detail is healthy, polished, and visually stunning. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!

THE STARTING RATE:  $21.91 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain MGMRI service standards when interacting with guests and coworkers
• Design, install, and maintain indoor green spaces, including plant placement, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and overall plant care to ensure healthy and visually appealing environments
• Monitor and adjust environmental conditions such as lighting, humidity, temperature, and plant nutrition; apply chemicals as needed in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards
• Identify, monitor, and control pests and diseases to protect plant health
• Drive and operate company vehicles, trailers, and/or specialized carts to transport materials and travel between properties
• Use a variety of manual tools and equipment (including pruners, shears, saws, shovels, fertilizer spreaders, and pesticide sprayers) to complete gardening tasks
• Maintain outdoor spaces as needed, including rock application, raking, blowing, and washing

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Two (2) years of prior relevant education, training, and experience
• Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in commercial or resort interior landscape maintenance
• One (1) year of prior relevant experience in interior landscape design and installation
• Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture or related fields preferred
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
