Project Description
Project Scope
- Learn the fundamentals of major wafer fabrication manufacturing processes used in NAND production.
- Study the purpose and structure of scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance events through guided walkthroughs, case studies, and documentation review.
- Understand the standard workflow and controls for manufacturing tool release following maintenance activities.
- Analyze how manufacturing metrics are defined, tracked, and used to evaluate fab performance.
- Plan and execute a defined continuous improvement project focused on process understanding, documentation enhancement, or data analysis related to manufacturing operations.
Deliverables
- A summarized learning report describing key wafer fabrication processes and their roles in NAND manufacturing.
- A documented overview of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance event types, including objectives, constraints, and impact considerations.
- A process flow or checklist illustrating the manufacturing tool release framework after maintenance events.
- An analysis report linking selected manufacturing metrics to process or equipment performance.
- A continuous improvement project proposal, execution plan, and final presentation highlighting findings, recommendations, and learning outcomes.
