Location - Surrey, BC
Work Arrangement - Onsite

Afternoon shift - M-TH, 1:30p-12a.

*Training will occur on day shift

What you’ll do
⦿ Machining Operations: Set up and operate various manual machines including flange facing machines, drills, drill presses, section bender, iron worker, band saw, torch cutter, and cut grooving tools to meet precise specifications. Daily tasks include machining, material preparation, and assisting fabrication teams. Success means consistently meeting production goals with high-quality output.
⦿ Technical Collaboration: Interpret engineering drawings and work orders accurately, engage with technical personnel and supervisors to report and resolve issues promptly, and ensure effective communication between departments.
⦿ Workplace Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, practice and sustain 5S functions to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient facility.
⦿ Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
⦿ Experience in fabrication and machining environments with strong attention to detail.
⦿ Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
⦿ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply practical problem-solving skills.
⦿ Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.

Nice-to-haves:
⦿ Machinist trade ticket or technical diploma.
⦿ Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency.
⦿ Experience with hydro testing or related fabrication support tasks.
⦿ Flexibility to work afternoon shifts and overtime as required.

Compensation: $33.51+/hr, dependent on experience
