Overview:
The Strategy Intern will gain hands-on experience shaping insight-driven brand strategies for pharmaceutical and health-focused clients. In this role, interns analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and audience behaviors to uncover insights that inform campaign direction and messaging. They collaborate closely with creative, account, and medical teams to help translate complex science into clear, compelling strategic recommendations.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Become a data science pro by applying your skills to solving business problems.
- Create primary qualitative and quantitative research reports (based on Focus Groups, IDIs, surveys, etc.) that highlight relevant findings and key insights and provide detailed research notes.
- Assist in background research and analysis for strategy documents.
- Interpret data to bring our insights to the clients.
- Walk the walk: act as a consultant for various accounts and learn to problem solve.
- Dive deep into clients’ business and marketing goals.
- Master core analytics terminology.
- Delve into the latest industry trends in data analytics.
- Gain an understanding of how data are captured and tracked.
- Understand the basics of reporting tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: 0+ years
- Area of Expertise: Coursework related to advertising/marketing, and/or healthcare
- Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, & recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Competencies:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills required
- Possesses solid presentatioin skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Comfortable telling a story using data and numbers
- Familiarity with analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Python, MYSQL, R)
