Job Summary & Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our advanced metrology and inspection tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor technology and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of metrology equipment.
• Develop innovative solutions to customer challenges and ensure optimal tool performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, marketing) to address customer needs and feedback.
• Manage and resolve quality issues, including submitting DOA or RMA as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
• Travel up to 25% to customer sites as required to provide support and training.

Additional Information: The position will require 25% work on Fridays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, including internationally.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with semiconductor metrology tools.
• Familiarity with software tools used in semiconductor metrology.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
