Prodly, a VC-backed Salesforce ISV partner, is looking for a talented, hardworking individual with great energy and initiative to join our team.
We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring the quality and reliability of our microservices-based product, and you will own the entire testing process, from planning to execution. You will be working closely with developers to create a robust automation framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full software testing life cycle, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated E2E tests using Cucumber (Java).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies for new features and releases.
- Contribute to product design to ensure test coverage aligns with end-user requirements.
- Create analysis reports and communicate results to the engineering team, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Log test results and ensure defects are tracked through to resolution.
- Maintain and optimise existing test suites, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Advocate for best practices in testing, code quality, and automation.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of quality across the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of QA experience, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Experience in manual testing.
- Expertise in Java for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber for E2E and integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience in microservices testing, performance testing, and/or other specialized tests is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice-to-haves / Pluses:
- Knowledge of performance testing, microservices testing, or other specialized testing approaches.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Basic-to-intermediate AWS knowledge and SaaS experience.
- Experience with Playwright.
