JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Client Services Advisor plays a key role in business analytical support for both internal team members and external clients. This role is responsible for client relationship management, cost optimization, and performance analysis to drive operational efficiencies and revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Data Analysis & Optimization
  • Review and analyze client data for trends, inefficiencies, and additional cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct routing optimization tracking and lost savings tracking to identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate opportunities for cost minimization while maintaining or improving service levels.

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Conduct monthly client reviews to assess satisfaction, utilization of company tools/services, and demonstrate new solutions.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with client personnel, understanding their needs while ensuring performance excellence.
  • Facilitate Annual Business Alignment Meetings to align strategies with client objectives.

  • Performance & Service Enhancement
  • Review carrier performance and client satisfaction with carriers, ensuring service consistency.
  • Support case study development showcasing client success stories and best practices.
  • Revenue Growth & Business Expansion
  • Engage clients in additional service offerings to drive organic revenue growth.
  • Identify new opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements through data analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 1-3 years of direct industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and a drive for success.
  • Ability to manage relationships with clients and address their needs while achieving performance goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, financial reports, and cost analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, and presentation applications (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to clients and management.
  • Basic knowledge of business mathematics and financial concepts for operational analysis.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, move about the office, operate computers, and handle files.
  • Occasionally required to lift boxes up to 20 pounds.

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL

  • Full-time position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM), with occasional evenings/weekends during peak periods.
  • Travel to client locations on an “as needed” basis (typically less than 10%).
  • This role can be location in Atlanta, GA or Hickory NC. (Hybrid schedule).
