About the role
The Team works with bankers and senior management within Banking globally and is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting market data expenses and identifying opportunities to control expenses. Additionally the scope of work includes vendor management, permissioning market data accesses, implementing cost saving strategies and managing any ad-hoc requirements from business.
Core Responsibilities:
- The role will be in-business support to Banking group in making decisions to provide efficient, timely and cost effective solution to meet market data needs and requirements for Global Banking users
- Engage with global business execution leads and seniors to understand and assist them with their Market Data requirements
- Maintain high quality market data inventories, analyze and conduct routine maintenance to ensure all access levels are within the allocated budget
- Work closely with sourcing and market data teams to manage vendor contracts and optimize spend
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Analyze the various databases and compare with other products in the markets
- Responsible for planning, building up and managing the overall delivery of the services / support
- Establish strong, standardized and consistent processes around overall delivery in partnership with global stakeholders
- Own and Responsible for end to end development of the projects/programs assigned
- Able to be a lead from the front, to get down and work with team and understand the problem and resolve
- Work across multiple teams - offshore/onshore/Vendor teams and track project deliverables closely
- Responsible for adherence to local Compliance policies and processes for self and team
Skills:
- A strong commitment to quality and efficiency
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Powerpoint) and ability to make good presentations
- Analytical skills: To interpret, analyze, summarize and present information
- Good understanding of Investment Banking and Capital Markets products
- Knowledge of market data systems (Bloomberg, Factset, Dealogic etc)
- Relationship management skills - ability to develop and sustain positive partnerships and be a strong leader
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data) partnership and networking skills to be the key
